5 Valentine Projects with the Cricut Maker

February 14th. Lovers day. All things hearts. This holiday is no exception, I’m going to make some Valentine projects with the Cricut Maker! I even get to play with my new MiniPress! I’m excited to share my 5 Valentine Projects with the Cricut Maker.  Come on and I’ll show you what I made!

This post probably contains affiliated links. My full disclosure policy is boring, but you can find it HERE.

Paper Heart Box with the Cricut Maker

What a little cutie for my Valentine decorations! This design can be found in Design Space. I did size this down to fit a horizontal piece of 8 x 11 cardstock. I used permanent vinyl for the XOXO which could have been a little farther down on the heart, but it’s OK. Hate it when that happens!

I folded all the scores lines then used glue tape to hold it together. Notice the flaps folded out so they can be attached to the sides of the hearts to hold it together.

Vertical and Small Love Sign

So I took this board and painted it bright red for a Christmas sign… well now it’s going to be a valentine sign! Can’t get everything I want done, what can I say?!

Anyway, I downloaded some cute valentine fonts and made my design.
Once I had them properly placed, I transferred them carefully to keep them all in line. It turned out sooo cute!
This is a smaller piece of wood painted red then whitewashed. It’s permanent vinyl too.
This is the Skinny font in Design Space and some heart shapes.

Bowl Fillers MiniPress on Wood

Using the same valentine fonts as the vertical sign, I created  a couple of bowl fillers. Simply cut the design from vinyl and transfer or you can use the MiniPress to apply HTV to a small sign.

Valentine Cupid in a Dollar Tree Frame

After that, I picked up a bunch of these square frames at Dollar Tree last fall and have turned them into several different things so far.  As a result, for Valentines Day decoration, I sized a Cupid, printed him on cardstock and placed it back in the frame. It is adorable!

Paper Hearts

How cute are these paper hearts on a stick?! Super easy to make. Get the design from my resource library. Cut these from 80 weight cardstock. I used glue tape on the front heart and attached it to the back heart then I used a piece of tape to attach the stick to the back heart.
I put a piece of foam on a white cup and covered it with some moss then stuck the hearts into it. Meanwhile, a simple red ribbon finished perfectly. You could also use these little guys as plant pokes too.
So there are many things you can do with a Cricut machine! These are just a few. Are you inspired? Are you going to try one of my designs or do you have some ideas of your own? Please share your photos and thoughts in the meets below.
