Fall Decorating Ideas 2020

Fall decorations are fantastic! Although it means the end of summer and no more pool, how can you not like sweater weather?! Once I’m reconciled the pool is done, I can enjoy making things and using them. Let me take you on the tour and show you my fall decorating ideas 2020. I hope you enjoy all the sights!

Let’s Start Outside

I get a lot of mileage out of this wagon. I put a fairy garden in it for the spring and summer and I have snowballs and a sign for Christmas. I love my pumpkin tower for fall. Last year I had real gourds I grew, but they didn’t produce this year so I used my fabric pumpkins scattered in the leaves at the base of the tower. Learn how to make the pumpkins here in How to Make a Fabric Pumpkin with Cricut Maker.

The pumpkin tower is made of plastic candy gathering pumpkins covered with burlap. It turned out beautiful! Learn how to make yours here in DIY Pumpkin Tower with Cricut.

This year, I put my Spooky Dollar Tree Halloween Sign with Cricut on the wagon wheel.

I got this big pumpkin for 50 cents at a thrift store and plopped a Halloween wig on him and he looks great beside my spotted wooden spider web boo!

During construction of our addition, I collected a bunch of 4×4 scraps. as a result I use them to turn into fabulous wooden pumpkins here with my free instructions.

Stepping into the House

Meanwhile over the years I’ve accumulated 3 totes of fall decorations. Although this pales in comparison to the many Christmas totes, but once everything is out for fall it transforms my house. Those totes have thrift store finds that I’ve flipped, Dollar Tree projects plus several other assorted goodies. I’ll highlight my projects for the link to my how to’s as we continue the tour.

Stepping into the house you’re greeted by my light vase flanked by my Indian corn candle holders and a couple of pumpkins. Directly below it, I displayed a vinyl design on a painted board.

Moving onto the hutch, I certainly made a Halloween tribute. I love my 50 cent thrift store terra cotta jack o lantern! It fits well with all the rest of these items. I actually made the majority of these pieces. I have the machine embroidery scary cat is available at my etsy shop. Learn to make the bead garland here.

So recent posts produced the spooky fall bucket and the little broom and witch’s hat on the 2 tiered stand.

2 Tiered Tray For Fall

My good friend found this tray in the garbage at the thrift shop. All it needed was 2 screws! She knew I’d been looking at a 3 tiered tray and wondered it I wanted it? Well certainly! Hubby fixed and it’s totally free!

You can make your own or go to my Etsy shop to buy the spooky 31 pillow. 5′ square makes it a perfect little tuck in for your fall decorating ideas. Check it out in 3 Spooky Halloween Crafts with Cricut.

Flipping one of my crafts for another season is such a storage space saver! Not to mention fun to transform things with on hand supplies. So I took my Fairy Lantern and stuffed it with pumpkins, pine cones and flowers in my post 3 Fantastic Fall Craft Projects.

So here’s my hot pad for fall that I made in 5 Delightful Dollar Tree Fall Crafts

I had so much fun rearranging for fall! I love my antique ironing board in this spot! Great backdrop for my thrift flip tall candle stand with the pumpkin that I did here in 3 Thrift Flips for Farmhouse Decor. A friend gave me a white pumpkin therefore I felt the need to put some vinyl on it! Super easy, find out how here in 3 Fantastic Fall Craft Projects.

The Livingroom Fall Decorating Ideas 2020

Meanwhile in the Livingroom, Fall decorations are abundant! I have some fabric pumpkins stacked on the barrel next to my redone pitcher. Sitting on the table behind it is my Dollar Tree Thrift Shop Project, my canning lid pumpkin is displayed there elevated on an old candle stick, a thrift shop frame makeover plus other projects from 5 Fabulous Free Fall Farmhouse Crafts and Canvas Tarp Farmhouse Pillow.

I love my stacked pumpkins! Although that broom is a cutie too!

Similarly, this shelf displays fall decorations from 5 Delightful Dollar Tree Fall Crafts and 3 Fall Farmhouse Thrift Flips.

More Livingroom

Moving further into the living room, there are more fabric pumpkins, wooden pumpkins and fall signs. My favorite is the little, black cat that is for sale at my Etsy shop.

Thrift flip wooden basket is full of pumpkins, a frame from 5 Fabulous Free Fall Farmhouse Crafts and a fall coconut redo all look great on this shelf.

Turning a crate on it’s side for instance gives me a great space to display my jug makeover project.

Fall Decorating Ideas 2020 in the Bedroom

Pumpkins and vases that decorate our bedroom are featured in Quick and Easy Dollar Tree Fall Project with Cricut.

Finally the Bathroom

Wood pumpkins with vinyl saying grace the little shelf down the hallway to the bathroom and on the bench I decorated my candle lantern from 5 Dollar Tree Frame Projects with Cricut.

So there you have it! I hope you enjoyed the tour of our home with all our fall decorating ideas for 2020. They were certainly fun for me to make and share with you all. What do you think? I’d love to see your fall decoration photos or your thoughts about mine in the comments below.
