Quick and Easy Dollar Tree Fall Projects with Cricut

There are a lot of cute seasonal items in the various dollar stores. As I was looking at all the fall items I wondered how many fall decorations could I make with dollar items? So I bought up a cache of $1 items and home I went to start creating dollar store fall decorations embellished with the Cricut Maker. Let me walk you through all my Quick and Easy Dollar Tree Fall Projects with Cricut.

Cricut is Great for Fall Projects

I’ll admit I went a little overboard because when you think these things are only a dollar it’s easy. My mind was racing with what all I could do with these items. I picked out several fall images and I’m ready to start creating my Quick and Easy Dollar Tree Fall Project with Cricut.
Cricut vinyl on these premade flower pots was the first project I envisioned. These little guys are small, only 6” y’all altogether and the small pot is 2 3/4” tall. I fluffed the flower arrangement, cut my designs and applied them to the little pots. Aren’t they cute?! I’ll not lie to you though, they were very difficult to weed!

I painted these vases using the same technique as I did in my post Master the Art of Painting and Distressing Mason Jars only I didn’t distress them  These vases are adorable with an arrangement of artificial fall flowers. Tying a length of twine around the neck of the vase and adding the cut out Cricut design was the perfect touch to finish them off.
I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to do with my mini hay bales in the beginning, but oh my gosh I think they turned out great!  The bales make quite a mess so I sprayed them heavy with clear finish. That helped a lot to keep it from shedding. The ribbon was on hand and the sign is Cricut chipboard painted black with the vinyl design applied. I used E6000 to attach a shish kabobs stick to the pumpkins.

This bigger vase is nice because it can use a bigger design, not so hard to weed! The copper look great with artificial flowers or use them to store items such as cooking utensils. Great for fall decorating and useful too.
The rims of the vases were scratched so I got glued some twine around the top to cover and then the two lines as well. So one was also chipped around the bottom and I covered it once around with the twine also.  That set it off great! I definitely prefer the black vinyl to the grey.
The pumpkin is a cute sign on its own but I want to use my Cricut Maker to make an even cuter sign. Another completed of my  fall projects with cricut.
I removed the string and bent the metal leaf down behind the pumpkin and spray painted them orange. I used several coats to get a smooth with paint I had on hand.
These pumpkins are cut from balsa wood. Turned them pumpkin orange with a few coats of spray paint. Once again I used an artificial flowers arrangement and a Cricut made sign for one and turn the other one around and glued the sign on the pumpkin. Just more super cute fall decoration for cheap!
Placing a simple design saying thankful on this small vase turns it into a fall decoration that will last until thanksgiving! I use a timered votive and never have to worry about turning it in and off. So simple.
Acorn placement. What the heck can I do with it? Too nice a fall decoration not to bring home and create something with it. I want it to be a wall hanging so first I applied my design using holographic sparkle iron on vinyl. I used a 6” dowel, tied a twine hanger and hot glued it to the back close to the top of the acorn. It was hard to keep it out of sight on the front.
To cover that up, I used the artificial flowers across the top. It actually was just what this needed!
Of course, candles are a staple of any kind of decorating. It’s only natural to use the Cricut Maker to decorate this little guys. I was able to peel the labels off of these and then I cut a few more fall Cricut designs and applied them. Add a twine bow and there you have them! In short, too cute!
So there you have it! Seven Dollar Tree fall decorations embellished with the Cricut Maker. Perfect for your fall decorating.
