Vinyl on Pumpkins

Our friend brought me and another friend some white pumpkins. Quite a nice surprise! They grew from seeds she gave  him last year. Angie wanted faces on hers for her fall figures so I made a design and we cut and applied them.
They turned out so cute I wanted to do mine with something too! Meanwhile I’ll show you how I did it. I choose a split monogram for mine.

Apply the design as you would to any other surface. Wipe with some rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and grim. Place the transfer paper on the pumpkin. It’s a little tricky to smooth it over the uneven surface of the pumpkin, but with a little patience you can get it on there.
After you remove the transfer paper, smooth the vinyl down with your fingers to make sure it’s good and adhered.

Leaf Wreath

While I was pulling out my fall decorations I found several grapevine wreaths a friend gave me a while back. Coupled with the silk leaves another friend gave me, I intend to make a completely free project! If you aren’t as lucky to have these things on hand I’m sure you could find them easily during the fall season.

So simple! Just wrap the leaf garlands around the wreath until you get the look you want.
Once I have the wreath covered with the leaf garlands it needed something more. I made this pumpkin sign last year and it fits perfect in my wreath! Check out 3 Fantastic Fall Craft Projects.
Now I can use this cutie inside or out!

Pumpkin Lantern

I’ve been big into seasonal makeovers for some of my projects. As much as I love my fairy lantern, I’ve removed 3 of the panels, I couldn’t get the back one out! Evidently it doesn’t matter because you’ll never see her!
Now with all my doodads laid out, I simply begin filling the lantern with many different fall pieces. Pumpkins and gourds plus pine cones and  silk flowers.
Once I get everything arranged the way I want I just close that door. Add a small sign I made with my Cricut Maker. I love it! It took less than 5 minutes to do and it’s so cool! Great addition to my fall decorations.
So there you have it! 3 Fantastic Fall Craft Projects. What did you think? Inspired to make something? Get your supplies out and let your creative juices flow! I would love to see you photos and thoughts in the comments below.
