How to Make Pillow Covers with a Cricut Maker

My spoiled friend asked me to make 2 pillow covers for her for Christmas knowing I’d be able to make something she loved and of course I did! Her taste is primitive, rustic, farmhouse….whatever they’re calling it these days! I did these pillows for her several years back. She still likes them, but wants change of pace. Using a pillow cover will give her the options. She dropped the pillows off the other day and I got started on them. Anyway, I’d like to show you how to make pillow covers with a Cricut Maker.

DIY Mug Rug with the Cricut Maker

Mug rug?! What the heck is that? I was curious too. After all it’s a coaster, right? Not exactly. A mug rug is a coaster yes, but it’s a little bigger so you can rest your cup and a few snacks on it also. Pretty neat, huh? No more crumbs on the side tables or wherever you have your treat. Let me show you how to make a diy mug rug with The Cricut maker.

Super Easy Zipper Pouch with the MiniPress

My good friend mentioned she needs a new change purse. When she showed me what she wanted, it was a simple zipper pouch. I’d been wanting to try one so since her birthday is coming up, I’m going to give it a try. Let me show you how to make a Super Easy Zipper Pouch with the MiniPress.

Canvas Tarp Farmhouse Pillow

How to Make Your Ironing Board Bigger

This isn’t a sewing with Cricut post, but having this bigger ironing board makes it easier for all my project!

I need a bigger ironing board, how about you? Let me show you how to make your ironing board bigger!
I tend to use my ironing board for a storage surface when I’m not pressing something so naturally a bigger one would be ideal! I say that jokingly but it will end up still mostly more flat surface to put things on! That’s ok because when I do use it for ironing my quilt projects, it will be worth moving all my other projects off of it. Never enough room!
